About the Role

We are seeking a skilled Meat Cutter to join our team at Greer's Markets. As a Meat Cutter, you will play a critical role in ensuring the highest quality products are available to our customers.

Key Responsibilities
  • Receive, handle, and store meat products in a safe and efficient manner.
  • Cut, trim, tray, and present fresh meats to meet customer expectations.
  • Be familiar with our ground beef program, grinding procedures, and handling of fresh trim.
  • Fully stock and rotate all meat cases to ensure an attractive and well-stocked display.
  • Understand the quality and grade of all products to provide accurate information to customers.
  • Properly sign and label products to ensure accurate inventory and customer satisfaction.
Requirements
  • Strong knowledge of meat cutting and handling procedures.
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and meet productivity standards.
  • Excellent communication and customer service skills.
  • Ability to lift and move heavy objects (up to 50 pounds) as needed.
