About the Role

We are seeking a skilled Vascular Ultrasound Technologist to join our team at St. John's Episcopal Hospital. As a key member of our diagnostic imaging department, you will play a critical role in providing high-quality patient care and contributing to the hospital's mission of delivering exceptional healthcare services.

Key Responsibilities
  • Operate ultrasound diagnostic equipment to produce high-quality images and reports for use by professional personnel in diagnosis and treatment of vascular diseases.
  • Perform duplex vascular scans, including 2D, color, and pulsed wave Doppler examinations, to evaluate arterial and venous structures and detect potential health issues.
  • Explain the examination process to patients, instruct and assist them in assuming the required physical position, and ensure their comfort and safety throughout the procedure.
  • Select appropriate ultrasonic recording parameters for procedures and maintain accurate records of patient data.
Requirements
  • High School diploma or equivalent required.
  • ARDMS/ARRT Registered certification.
  • At least 1 year of experience in a hospital setting preferred.
