Job Title: Registered Vascular Technologist

St. John's Episcopal Hospital is seeking a skilled Registered Vascular Technologist to join our team. As a vital member of our diagnostic imaging department, you will play a crucial role in providing high-quality patient care.

Job Summary:

The successful candidate will operate ultrasound diagnostic equipment to produce high-quality images of arterial and vascular studies. You will perform duplex vascular scans, including 2D, color, and pulsed wave Doppler examinations, to evaluate arterial and venous structures. Your expertise will be essential in measuring and calculating percent of stenosis of arteries and detecting deep vein thrombosis, as well as performing ABI and PUR studies.

Responsibilities:
  • Operate ultrasound diagnostic equipment to produce high-quality images
  • Perform sonography exams, ensuring requests conform to patient chart orders
  • Explain procedures to patients and assist them in assuming physical positions for required exposure to ultrasound waves
  • Select appropriate ultrasonic recording parameters for procedures
Requirements:
  • High School diploma or Equivalency required
  • ARDMS/ARRT Registered
  • At least 1 year experience in a hospital setting preferred
