Job Summary

Denco Family, Inc is seeking a Server to join our team at Denny's Visalia, CA location. As a Server, you will be responsible for providing exceptional guest service, taking orders, and delivering food and beverages in a timely and courteous manner.

Key Responsibilities
  • Provide prompt and courteous service to guests, ensuring a positive dining experience.
  • Take orders accurately and efficiently, using the point of sale system.
  • Deliver food and beverages to guests in a timely manner, ensuring quality and presentation standards.
  • Assist with guest seating, utilizing proper arrival order and rotation procedures.
  • Suggestively sell and achieve guest check average targets.
  • Accurately handle cash, credit card, and discount transactions.
  • Maintain a clean and organized dining area, adhering to Denny's Brand Standards.
  • Participate in ongoing training and development to improve skills and knowledge.
Requirements
  • Must be able to communicate effectively in English, both orally and in writing.
  • Must be able to pass all required tests and training requirements for the position.
  • Must be able to work in a team environment and maintain a positive attitude.
  • Meets Denny's uniform and grooming standards and maintains them throughout the shift.
  • Must be able to work a flexible schedule, including holidays, nights, and weekends.
  • Possesses excellent guest service skills and basic math skills.
  • Ability to lift and carry supplies and equipment up to 30 lbs.
  • Ability to raise a tray weighing up to 25 lbs to shoulder height.
