About the Role

Capgemini Engineering is seeking a highly skilled Senior Post-Silicon Validation & Characterization Engineer to join our team. As a key member of our engineering team, you will play a critical role in ensuring the quality and reliability of cutting-edge DDR memory interfaces integrated into our upcoming ASICs.

Key Responsibilities
  • Design and execute comprehensive validation and characterization plans to ensure compliance with relevant industry standards (e.g., JEDEC).
  • Develop and maintain in-depth knowledge of DDR memory technologies, including JEDEC specifications and related protocols.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to identify and resolve complex technical issues related to high-speed memory interfaces.
  • Develop and maintain expertise in silicon bring-up, debug, and failure analysis techniques.
  • Stay up-to-date with the latest advancements in DDR memory technologies and industry standards.
Requirements
  • BSEE or MSEE with 7+ years of experience in post-silicon validation and characterization, specializing in high-speed memory interfaces (DDR4/5).
  • Proven expertise in silicon bring-up, debug, and failure analysis techniques.
  • Strong understanding of high-speed signal integrity and power integrity concepts.
  • Proficiency in operating and automating test equipment, including oscilloscopes, logic analyzers, BERTs, and memory interface analyzers.
  • Exceptional problem-solving and debugging skills.
Preferred Qualifications
  • Experience with silicon bring-up and debug.
  • Familiarity with lab equipment's & automation software.
  • Knowledge of scripting languages such as Python, TCL or Shell.
