Job Summary

We are seeking a skilled Respiratory Therapist to join our team at Aurora West Allis Medical Center. As a Respiratory Therapist, you will play a critical role in providing high-quality patient care and contributing to the success of our healthcare team.

Key Responsibilities
  • Assess patient needs and develop effective treatment plans to support respiratory health.
  • Operate specialized ventilators and equipment to provide critical care services.
  • Collaborate with physicians and other healthcare professionals to ensure seamless patient care.
  • Provide education and support to patients and their families to promote respiratory health and well-being.
  • Participate in quality improvement initiatives to enhance patient outcomes and satisfaction.
Requirements
  • Graduate from an accredited respiratory care program with a minimum of an associate degree.
  • Active Registered Respiratory Therapist (RRT) credential issued by the National Board for Respiratory Care (NBRC) or Certified Respiratory Therapist (CRT) credential issued by the NBRC if received prior to January 1, 2019.
  • Basic Life Support (BLS) for Healthcare Providers certification issued by the American Heart Association (AHA).
