Job Summary

We are seeking a skilled Hotel Engineer III to join our team at Marriott Hotels. As a key member of our facilities team, you will be responsible for ensuring the smooth operation of our hotel's mechanical, electrical, and plumbing systems.

Key Responsibilities
  • Respond to and resolve guest repair requests in a timely and professional manner.
  • Perform routine maintenance tasks, including cleaning and lubrication of tools and equipment.
  • Identify and troubleshoot issues with hotel systems, including HVAC, plumbing, and electrical systems.
  • Collaborate with other team members to ensure seamless operation of hotel facilities.
  • Stay up-to-date with industry developments and best practices in hotel engineering and maintenance.
Requirements
  • High school diploma or equivalent required; vocational or technical background preferred.
  • At least 2 years of experience in hotel engineering or maintenance.
  • Valid driver's license and Universal Chlorofluorocarbon (CFC) certification required.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
  • Excellent communication and problem-solving skills.
Preferred Qualifications
  • Extensive experience in general maintenance, electrical, or refrigeration.
  • Parts inventory and requisition experience.
  • Exterior and interior surface preparation and painting experience.
