Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled Maintenance Technician III to join our team at Marriott International, Inc. As a key member of our facilities team, you will be responsible for ensuring the smooth operation of our hotel's mechanical, electrical, and plumbing systems.

Key Responsibilities
  • Respond to and resolve guest repair requests in a timely and professional manner.
  • Perform routine maintenance tasks, including cleaning and lubrication of tools and equipment.
  • Conduct visual inspections of tools, equipment, and machines to identify potential issues.
  • Operate shut-off valves for equipment and maintain inventory of parts and supplies.
  • Communicate effectively with guests, colleagues, and management to resolve maintenance issues.
  • Display advanced knowledge of engineering computer programs and perform troubleshooting of hotel MEP systems.
  • Train and mentor other engineers as needed and perform Engineer on Duty responsibilities.
Requirements
  • High school diploma or equivalent and vocational or technical background.
  • At least 2 years of hotel engineering/maintenance experience.
  • Valid Driver's License and Universal Chlorofluorocarbon (CFC) Certification.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
  • Strong communication and problem-solving skills.
Preferred Qualifications
  • Extensive experience and training in general maintenance, electrical or refrigeration, parts inventory and requisition, exterior and interior surface preparation and painting.
