POSITION SUMMARY

In the role of Fashion Sourcing and Production Specialist, you will be integral to the comprehensive process of designing, sampling, producing, and merchandising soft goods through our online platforms. Collaborating with various teams, you will utilize your knowledge in vendor management, procurement strategies, and fashion insights to drive outcomes and seize new opportunities.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Lead procurement efforts to meet established standards and onboard new vendors, working alongside stakeholders.
  • Engage with stakeholders, brands, and suppliers to source products that resonate with our target audience.
  • Build and sustain robust vendor relationships, identifying areas for enhancement in service, delivery, pricing, and terms.
  • Gain a thorough understanding of assigned categories, including market dynamics, products, pricing, and competitive landscape.
  • Manage and create purchase orders within our systems.
  • Conduct market analysis to remain informed about the latest fashion trends and styles.
  • Collaborate with design and production teams to create innovative apparel designs.

QUALIFICATIONS

  • Minimum of 3 years of experience in a sourcing or production capacity, ideally within the fashion sector.
  • Demonstrated success in negotiating, reviewing, and overseeing vendor requirements, contracts, and processes.
  • Ability to think strategically and work autonomously.
  • Comprehensive understanding of current market conditions and fashion trends.
  • Strong interpersonal skills with the capacity to collaborate effectively across all management levels.
  • Proactive approach with a proven history of achieving results.
  • Familiarity with the e-commerce landscape.
  • Highly organized and self-driven, capable of managing multiple projects concurrently.

WORK ENVIRONMENT

This position requires full-time in-office attendance.
