Pediatric Occupational Therapist Job Description

Aveanna Healthcare LLC is seeking a compassionate and skilled Pediatric Occupational Therapist to join our team. As a Pediatric Occupational Therapist, you will play a vital role in helping our patients achieve their full potential and live independently.

Job Summary

We are looking for a highly motivated and experienced Occupational Therapist to provide high-quality care to our pediatric patients. The ideal candidate will have a strong passion for working with children and a commitment to delivering exceptional patient outcomes.

Responsibilities
  • Provide occupational therapy services to pediatric patients in home and clinic-based settings
  • Develop and implement individualized treatment plans to meet the unique needs of each patient
  • Collaborate with healthcare teams to ensure seamless care coordination and communication
  • Conduct thorough assessments and evaluations to identify patient needs and goals
  • Administer and interpret standardized assessments and tests to inform treatment plans
  • Provide education and training to patients and their families on occupational therapy techniques and strategies
  • Document patient progress and outcomes in a timely and accurate manner
Requirements
  • Master's degree in Occupational Therapy from an accredited program
  • Current and unrestricted license to practice Occupational Therapy in the state of practice
  • Certification in Occupational Therapy
  • One year of recent experience as an Occupational Therapist in an acute care setting
  • Pediatric experience preferred
