Position Overview

The Senior Technical Product Manager serves as a vital link between business objectives and software development execution. This role is crucial in ensuring that the right products are developed to align with the organization's strategic goals. The successful candidate will collaborate closely with Software Engineering leadership to create internal solutions that enhance operational efficiencies through improved business process automation and validation.

Key Responsibilities

  • Requirements Gathering: Collaborate with software development teams to gather, specify, and support project requirements.
  • Documentation: Create detailed success criteria and functional requirements, including feature-level and system-level workflows, ensuring clarity and feasibility for the development team.
  • Project Management: Prioritize and manage dependencies among projects, establishing standards for value assessment that align with business objectives.
  • Product Launch: Oversee the rollout of new products, including the creation of customer-facing support materials and managing communication with adjacent teams.

Qualifications

  • Minimum of 6 years in software product management, with at least 3 years in agile environments.
  • Proficient in SQL and experienced with cloud platforms such as S3, RDS, Kafka, and Jira.
  • Demonstrated experience in building and launching complex operational platform services utilizing event-driven architecture.
  • Strong background in databases, APIs, and n-tier architecture.
  • Prior experience as a Software Engineer or Application Developer is preferred.
  • Exceptional analytical skills to interpret raw data and present findings clearly to stakeholders.

Desired Skills

  • Experience in AdTech, Operational Logistics, or Healthcare solutions.
  • Familiarity with event-driven architectures and content management workflows.
  • An MBA is a plus.
