Job Summary

We are seeking a skilled Imaging Specialist II to join our team at Sharp HealthCare. As a key member of our diagnostic imaging department, you will be responsible for performing a wide range of technical procedures in special modalities and general diagnostic imaging.

Key Responsibilities
  • Perform high-quality imaging procedures, ensuring accurate and efficient results.
  • Verify patient identification and pregnancy status, implementing safe and therapeutic care.
  • Assist radiologists in procedures, practicing sterile techniques to prevent cross-contamination.
  • Document patient information, exams, and results accurately and efficiently.
  • Provide pre and post-procedure education and reassurance to patients and their families.
Requirements
  • Satisfactory completion of formal training program in an AMA-approved school.
  • ARRT Certificate - ARRT.
  • Radiologic Technologist Fluoroscopy Permit - CA Department of Public Health.
  • Certified Radiologic Technologist (CRT) - CA Department of Public Health.
  • AHA Basic Life Support for Healthcare Professional (AHA BLS Healthcare) - American Heart Association.
  • IV Certification (NPTA Sterile Product Certification) - Various-Employee provides certificate.
Preferred Qualifications
  • 1 year CT experience.
  • ARRT (CT) preferred.
