Imaging Specialist II

Crothall Healthcare is a leading provider of specialized support services to the healthcare industry. As a Specialist Imaging II, you will play a critical role in ensuring the optimal performance of imaging equipment in our hospitals.
Key Responsibilities:
- Perform planned preventive maintenance, calibrations, and electrical safety inspections on imaging equipment.
- Repair and replace defective components, and readjust equipment to manufacturer specifications.
- Assist with diagnostic imaging cross-training of BMET technicians.
- Collaborate with manufacturers and equipment operators to resolve equipment-related issues.
- Provide emergency on-call support and research repair parts within budget parameters.
- Conduct quality assurance records and reports, and document significant asset-related actions.
Preferred Qualifications:
- Associates degree in Electronics/Imaging Technology, Biomedical Equipment Technology, or military training.
- Prior experience with imaging equipment manufacturers or related experience.
- Minimum of five years experience in radiology equipment repair and biomedical experience.
- Specialized knowledge in radiology, MRI, nuclear medicine, ultrasound, CT, cath lab, linear accelerators, etc.
- Prefer certification (CRES) in these modalities.
- Good communication and customer service skills.
- Ability and willingness to serve on-call duty and serve as a technical resource.
