Job Summary:

We are seeking an experienced Registered Nurse to join our team as an Intensive Care Nurse. The successful candidate will have a minimum of 2 years of experience in Telemetry and possess excellent critical thinking and communication skills.

Responsibilities:

  • Evaluate patients and assist physicians with patient care
  • Develop, implement, and coordinate individualized plans of care for patients assigned
  • Initiate assessments based on patient needs, physician medical diagnosis, and functional health framework
  • Perform therapeutic nursing interventions
  • Manage care of patients
  • Document care based on standards of care and practice, patient acuity, and/or clinical priorities
  • Advocate for evidence-based practice care standards and supports adoption of evidence-based practices and innovations in care delivery
  • Provide patient-centric care in alignment with professional nursing practice model

Requirements:

  • Minimum 2 years of RN-MedSurg/Tele experience required (2 years preferred)
  • Experience with cardiac drips is required
  • NJ State Professional Registered Nurse license or multi-state compact license is required
  • BLS - AHA, NIHSS, and ACLS certifications are required
  • Telemetry Certification or Telemetry Competency Exam is REQUIRED
