Job DescriptionWe are seeking an experienced and compassionate Dialysis Technician to join our team. The ideal candidate will have previous experience in a hospital setting or related facility and possess excellent communication skills. Your role will involve working closely with patients, physicians, and other healthcare professionals to deliver exceptional care.
Key Responsibilities:- Provide patient-specific detailed education regarding disease process/access
- Welcome assigned patients and inquire about their well-being since their last treatment
- Report any complaints or observations to the nurse supervisor
- Obtain necessary pre- and post-treatment vital signs and weight
- Perform vascular access evaluation and report unusual findings to the nurse supervisor
- Center for Medicaid/Medicare Services (CMS)-approved state and/or national certification or High School diploma or G.E.D.
- Previous patient care experience in a hospital setting or related facility preferred
