**Job Summary:** As a Lead Water Technician at Midwest Remediation, you will be responsible for overseeing every job assigned to you, managing the assistant technician paired with you each day, and engaging in communication with each customer and/or point of contact for each job. You will also oversee after-hours jobs and handle on-call duties.

**Key Responsibilities:**

  • Oversee every job assigned to you, ensuring timely and efficient completion
  • Manage the assistant technician paired with you each day, providing guidance and support as needed
  • Engage in communication with each customer and/or point of contact for each job, ensuring clear understanding of the mitigation process and expectations
  • Oversee after-hours jobs and handle on-call duties, providing 24/7 support to customers
  • Assist in disaster efforts in a weather event, working closely with the Mitigation Manager to coordinate response efforts
  • Maintain the cleanliness and inventory of the company vehicle assigned to you

**Requirements:**

  • Dewald Academy of Drying certification
  • Industry experience is a must
  • Strong understanding of the mitigation process and equipment functionality
  • Punctuality, motivation, initiative, reliability, and strong leadership skills
  • No licenses required

**Physical Abilities:**

  • Frequently lift and carry up to 80 pounds
  • Stand for at least 8 hours
  • Sit for at least 6 hours (adjustable desks available)
  • Work in outdoor conditions
  • Work in indoor non-airconditioned conditions
  • Work in a full-face respirator
  • Work in confined spaces (such as crawlspaces, attics, etc.)
  • Work in a particulate mask (like N-95)
  • Wear safety glasses or face shield
  • Work in and around sewage
  • Work around microbial growth
