Job Summary

We are seeking an Occupational Therapy Assistant to join our team in a pediatric home health setting. As an OTA, you will work closely with our occupational therapists to provide high-quality care to children and their families.

Responsibilities
  • Assist in the evaluation of patients' functional abilities and limitations to help develop individualized treatment plans.
  • Implement therapeutic activities and exercises designed to improve patients' fine motor skills, strength, coordination, and independence in daily activities.
  • Monitor and document patients' progress and responses to treatment, adjusting interventions as directed by the occupational therapist.
  • Instruct patients and their families in therapeutic techniques and activities they can perform at home to enhance rehabilitation progress.
Requirements
  • Active Occupational Therapy Assistant (OTA) license in the state of Texas.
