Job Summary

The Classroom Teacher - Educational Leadership role is a critical position within our school community. As a key member of our teaching staff, you will be responsible for delivering high-quality educational programs to students, while also contributing to the development and implementation of school policies and priorities.

Key Responsibilities
  • Develop and implement curriculum programs that meet the diverse needs of all students
  • Model exemplary classroom practice and mentor/coach other teachers to engage in critical reflection of their practice
  • Provide expert advice on content, processes, and strategies that will shape individual and school professional learning
  • Supervise and train student teachers
  • Assist staff to use student data to inform teaching approaches that enable targets related to improving student learning outcomes to be achieved
Requirements
  • Provisional or full registration with the Victorian Institute of Teaching
  • Qualifications to teach and/or demonstrated experience in the curriculum area(s) specified for the position
  • Ability to work collaboratively as part of a team
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills
  • Ability to adapt to changing circumstances and priorities
