We are seeking a highly skilled Neuro PCU/Stepdown Registered Nurse to join our team at a top client in Plano, TX. As a Neuro PCU/Stepdown RN, you will provide clinical expertise and high-quality care to patients with conditions affecting the brain, spine, and nervous system.
About the RoleOur Neuroscience Progressive Care Unit is a fast-paced, high-acuity floor that offers a unique opportunity to work with a strong group of nurses committed to providing high-quality care to patients. You will have the chance to work with a diverse patient population, including TBI's, brain tumors, post-spinal patients, SDHs, SAHs, ICUs, ischemic/hemorrhagic strokes, MVAs, and MCCs.
Requirements- BSN required - Magnet facility
- A.D.N with CNO approval and enrollment in BSN program currently or enrolled within 6 months of hire and completion with 24 months
- TX RN or Compact State Licensure
- ACLS and BLS
- PALS - within in 6 months
- At least one (1) year Stepdown, Progressive Care, PCU or Intermediate Care RN experience in an acute care hospital - 2 Years is preferred Neuro Experience is PREFERRED
