Director of Student Success Initiatives

The American Indian Student Center seeks a dedicated professional to serve as Assistant Director, focusing on student success initiatives. With a strong passion for promoting diversity and equity, you will be responsible for developing and implementing programs that enhance the educational experience for students, particularly American Indians and Alaska Natives.
About the RoleThis exempt position reports directly to the Director for Student Inclusion and Engagement and offers a dynamic opportunity to make a lasting impact on campus life. Key responsibilities include planning, development, implementation, and administration of student services/programs that support academic excellence and holistic student success.
Key Responsibilities- Develop high-impact programs and services that foster student engagement and retention, with a focus on American Indian and Alaska Native populations
- Collaborate with campus partners to create inclusive environments that promote student well-being and academic achievement
- Analyze data and assess program effectiveness to inform strategic decision-making
- Foster partnerships with local organizations to expand opportunities for students and enhance community engagement
To be successful in this role, you must possess excellent leadership and communication skills, with the ability to work effectively in a diverse team environment. A bachelor's degree and relevant experience are required, with a strong preference for candidates with advanced degrees or certifications in higher education administration or related fields.

Salary and BenefitsWe offer a competitive salary range of $63,420 - $77,170 per year, commensurate with experience. This is a full-time, exempt position that leads toward permanent status following the successful completion of a probationary period.
