Job Title: EHS Manager

We are seeking a highly skilled EHS Manager to join our team at T. Marzetti Company. As a key member of our organization, you will be responsible for developing, implementing, and managing our safety, health, security, and environmental programs.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Ensure compliance with federal, state, and local regulations, as well as company policies and industry standards.
  • Develop and implement safety policies and procedures, conduct risk assessments, and lead incident investigations.
  • Manage environmental stewardship, including waste management, recycling programs, and pollution prevention initiatives.
  • Develop and maintain emergency response plans and procedures, and coordinate emergency drills and training exercises.
  • Compile and submit information for required reports, and prepare and present EHS reports to senior management.
Requirements:
  • Bachelor's degree in Environmental Science, Occupational Safety and Health, Engineering, or a related field.
  • 5-7 years of experience in Safety, Security, US OSHA and EPA, and Worker's Compensation administration in a manufacturing environment.
  • Strong knowledge of OSHA, EPA, and other regulatory requirements.
  • Ability to drive the safety program and engage associates within all levels of the organization.
  • Excellent communication, organization, training, and presentation skills.
Working Conditions:

The majority of time will be spent in a manufacturing environment, which may involve exposure to noise, heat, and other environmental factors. Ability to stand, walk, and move around the facility for extended periods, and lift and carry objects up to 50 pounds.
