Position: AV Commissioning Specialist

Role Overview:

  • Interpret and analyze electronic schematics and architectural designs.
  • Evaluate point-to-point functionality of audio-visual systems.
  • Assess project Scope of Work (SOW) to ensure installation excellence.
  • Conduct troubleshooting for AMX/Crestron and DSP systems.
  • Install and modify control programs (AMX/Crestron).
  • Configure network communication for IP addressable devices.
  • Facilitate client training and prepare final project documentation.
  • Manage the creation and completion of project Punchlists.
  • Travel to various project sites as required.

Qualifications We Seek:

  • Strong communication skills and professionalism with stakeholders.
  • Excellent business writing capabilities.
  • Experience with testing and calibration tools.
  • Ability to maintain user acceptance testing processes.
  • Skill in diagnosing complex system challenges.
  • Knowledge of advanced signal flow principles.
  • Understanding of IP networking fundamentals.
  • Proficiency in PC operations.
  • Capacity to multitask and prioritize effectively.
  • Independent problem-solving skills and ability to meet deadlines.
  • Exceptional organizational skills with attention to detail.
  • Valid Driver's License and a minimum of a High School Diploma.

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Education in electronics or a related field.
  • At least 5 years of experience in AV installation.
  • Familiarity with Enterprise VC solutions (Zoom, Teams, Google Meet, etc.).
  • AVIXA General CTS certification.
