Job Summary

Key Responsibilities
  • Conduct nutritional assessments to determine client eligibility for the WIC program
  • Prescribe individually tailored food packages for clients
  • Provide basic health education on topics such as nutrition, lactation, and community resources
  • Schedule client appointments and provide telephone communication
  • Document services and maintain accurate records
Requirements
  • Associate's degree in a related discipline and two years of related work experience, or Bachelor's degree in a related discipline and one year of related work experience
  • Current Washington State certification as a Medical Assistant-Registered or Medical Assistant-Phlebotomist within 90 days of hire
