Job Overview:
Elevate patient care by joining our multidisciplinary team as a Registered Nurse in wound care at Eastern Idaho Regional Medical Center.
Serve as a clinical resource for nursing staff and healthcare providers, assisting with wound care planning, strategy, and implementation. Collaborate with the multidisciplinary team to ensure appropriate resource management and develop safe discharge plans.
Key Responsibilities:
- Direct nursing intervention for various age populations and diagnostic categories based on physician-developed plans of care
- Coordinate activities promoting quality outcomes and patient throughput while supporting optimal care and resource utilization
- Review medication and provide patient education, pain medication administration per physician order, and assess pain levels
Requirements:
- Current licensure as a Registered Nurse in the State of Idaho
- Associate Degree in Nursing required, BSN preferred
- Wound care experience preferred
- American Red Cross or American Heart Association Basic Life Support Course (BLS or BCLS) certification offered during new hire orientation
