- As a Wound Care Registered Nurse, you will serve as a clinical resource for the nursing staff and healthcare providers to assist with planning wound care strategies.
- You will ensure effective resource management and develop safe discharge plans in collaboration with the multidisciplinary team.
Your responsibilities will include:
- Direct nursing intervention for various age populations and diagnostic categories based on the physician-developed plan of care.
- Coordinating activities that promote quality outcomes and patient throughput while supporting optimal care and resource utilization.
- Identifying potential causes of delayed wound healing.
- Reviewing medication and providing patient education on pain medication administration per physician order.
To be successful in this role, you will need:
- Current licensure as a Registered Nurse in the State of Idaho.
- Associate Degree in nursing required, BSN preferred.
- Wound care experience is preferred.
- American Red Cross or American Heart Association Basic Life Support Course (BLS or BCLS) certification.
