Position Overview:
We are currently seeking a dedicated and enthusiastic individual with a passion for automobiles to join our team as a GM Certified Technician. In this role, you will be tasked with executing repairs and maintenance in alignment with factory and dealership standards, ensuring an outstanding customer experience.
Key Responsibilities:
- Conduct comprehensive inspections of vehicles and offer repair suggestions to service advisors.
- Diagnose and repair various automotive systems, including engines, steering, brakes, suspension, transmission, and air conditioning with minimal oversight.
- Manage significant engine repairs during the initial appointment.
- Communicate directly with the Service Advisor to keep customers informed about any additional services required, including providing time estimates for further repairs.
- Safely handle vehicles until they are returned to the Service Advisor or customer.
- Read and understand written instructions and information.
Qualifications:
- Strong mechanical and troubleshooting abilities.
- Basic computer skills.
- Friendly demeanor with a strong customer service focus.
- Ability to thrive in a fast-paced environment.
- Team-oriented with effective collaboration skills.
- Possess a basic set of tools necessary for the job.
- A minimum of 3 years' experience as a GM technician.
- Valid driver's license with a clean driving record.
- Willingness to undergo pre-employment drug screening and background checks.
