We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Sous Chef to join our team at Woodcock Brothers Brewing Company. As a key member of our kitchen staff, you will be responsible for ensuring the smooth operation of our culinary operations.
Key Responsibilities- Opening and Closing Procedures: Ensure that all kitchen equipment is properly cleaned and maintained, and that the kitchen is prepared for service.
- Nightly Ordering and Inventory: Responsible for ordering produce and managing inventory to ensure that we have the necessary ingredients to meet customer demand.
- Leadership and Support: Provide guidance and support to junior kitchen staff, and assume responsibility for kitchen operations in the absence of the Head Chef.
- Availability and Flexibility: Must be available to work weekends and be flexible with regards to scheduling.
- Culinary Experience and Skills: Proven experience working on all kitchen equipment, with a strong understanding of food safety and sanitation procedures.
