Job Title: Donation Door Attendant

Goodwill Industries of Southwest Florida, INC. is seeking a highly skilled and detail-oriented individual to join our team as a Donation Door Attendant. This is a full-time/part-time position based in Fort Myers, Florida.

Responsibilities
  • Provide exceptional customer service skills to our donors and customers.
  • Receive, record, and sort donations to effectively process through the Kaizen system.
  • Represent Goodwill Industries to the public in a professional and courteous manner.
  • Comply with Kaizen guidelines and principles as outlined in the audit and 5-minute drills.
  • Perform other duties as instructed by your immediate supervisors, including processing, cleaning, customer service, building fixtures/equipment, and more.
Requirements
  • High School graduate or equivalent preferred.
  • Experience in retail and/or stock handling preferred.
  • Must have sufficient mobility to turn, lean, kneel, or bend and stand for long periods of time.
  • Must be able to see and recognize colors.
  • Must have basic math skills.
  • Must be able to lift at least 40 pounds frequently and up to 100 pounds occasionally.
