We are seeking a skilled HVAC Installer to join our team at Comfort Systems USA Southeast. As an HVAC Installer, you will play a crucial role in the installation, retrofit, and maintenance of commercial HVAC equipment.
Key Responsibilities- Retrofit and install commercial HVAC equipment, including RTU, chillers, and split systems up to 70 tons.
- Repair and replace defective equipment, components, or wiring.
- Install other HVAC systems, including duct and electrical wiring.
- Field fabricate duct as required by the project.
- Complete electronic reports and documentation daily on a handheld device.
- Work independently and as part of a team to complete assigned tasks within an allotted time frame.
- Operate company vehicles to complete projects within a specified territory.
- 3 or more years of experience with commercial HVAC equipment retrofit and installation projects.
- EPA Universal certification.
- OSHA 10 certification (provided by the company if needed).
- Experience with water-cooled and chilled water systems.
- Experience with high and low voltage wiring of commercial HVAC equipment.
- Mechanical aptitude, mathematical, and English language skills.
- Maintain a positive, cooperative, and teachable attitude.
- Initiative, self-motivation, and a self-starter mindset.
- Comply with and promote company Safety Policy.
- Excellent communication and customer service skills.
- Analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Ability to work independently with and without supervision.
- Ability to stand, squat, bend, stoop, and comfortably lift up to 50 lbs.
- Ability to pass a full background screening, MVR, and drug screening.
- Ability to travel, as needed, for projects.
