The Transportation Supervisor plays a key role in leading a team of drivers and dispatchers, which is crucial for the smooth operation of our daily activities.
Reporting Structure: This position reports directly to the Regional Transportation Manager and is responsible for overseeing the transportation department personnel, coordinating all transportation services for our participants and prospective enrollees, and ensuring vehicle safety standards are met.
Key Responsibilities:
- Supervise the transportation team, including recruitment, training, oversight, and mentorship.
- Engage in interdisciplinary team meetings, contributing actively by listening, sharing insights, and following up on action items.
- Ensure compliance with vehicle safety regulations, including conducting preventive maintenance inspections (PMI) to identify safety issues and verifying vendor adherence to maintenance schedules.
- Manage the scheduling of transportation services to optimize efficiency while maintaining high levels of customer satisfaction.
- Oversee the upkeep and safety of all vehicles, including lift vans, ADA-compliant minibuses, and ambulatory transport vehicles.
Qualifications:
- A high school diploma or equivalent is required.
- At least four (4) years of experience in a public or private transportation environment.
- A minimum of two (2) years in a supervisory role.
- A valid driver's license for a minimum of five (5) years, with no more than one (1) moving violation or one (1) at-fault accident in the past three (3) years.
- Participation in the DMV pull notice and random testing for alcohol and controlled substances is required, along with passing a DOJ/FBI background check and DOT physical exam.
- In the event of operational changes, obtaining a Passenger (P) Endorsement on your driver's license may be necessary for operating passenger transportation vehicles.

The salary range for this position is $72,000 to $85,000 annually, plus bonuses and equity. Actual compensation will be adjusted based on experience and qualifications.
