Financial Analyst Intern

The Finance & Accounting Intern will gain valuable hands-on experience in the financial operations of Pilot Company. This role will provide exposure to various aspects of financial analysis, accounting, and reporting.
Responsibilities:
- Assist in financial analysis projects, including budgeting, forecasting, and variance analysis.
- Support accounting processes, such as journal entries, account reconciliations, and financial statement preparation.
- Prepare financial reports and presentations for management.
- Analyze financial data to identify trends, patterns, and insights.
- Assist with audit preparation and coordination.
- Contribute to special projects as needed, such as cost-benefit analysis or process improvement initiatives.
This is a 10-week paid internship program designed to provide on-the-job training and experience to recent college graduates.
As a Finance & Accounting Intern, you will engage in various work assignments, projects, and activities of varying complexity, structured to enable you to gain the necessary knowledge, skills and abilities needed to perform at a professional level.
You will receive training and mentorship in planning and carrying out activities and assignments.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor's or Master's level degree seeking students; no previous work experience required.
- Rising juniors or seniors preferred.
- Entry-level knowledge and skill at the Bachelors or Masters level within specified area of professional specialty.
- Ability to communicate effectively, both orally and in writing.
- Ability to understand and follow complex, detailed technical instructions.
- Ability to work both independently and in a team environment.
