Position Overview:
This is an exceptional opportunity to engage in part-time psychiatric care (32 hours per week) within an outpatient environment, positively influencing the lives of young individuals. You will operate from Main Line Health's Mirmont Outpatient Centers, focusing on children and adolescents aged 14 and above, addressing a variety of mental health disorders.
Key Responsibilities:
- Performing comprehensive psychiatric evaluations to assess patients' mental health conditions, including their history, symptoms, and current issues.
- Establishing precise psychiatric diagnoses based on thorough clinical evaluations and established diagnostic standards.
- Creating and executing individualized treatment strategies that encompass medication management, psychotherapy, and other evidence-based practices.
- Tracking clients' progress and their responses to treatment, modifying plans as needed to ensure the best possible outcomes.
- Collaborating with dedicated staff and management to enhance Main Line Health's services for the youth demographic.
