Join a dedicated team of maintenance experts tasked with executing preventive upkeep and repairs on industrial machinery, encompassing production, facility, and utility systems. Equipment types include pumps, valves, separators, reverse osmosis systems, evaporators, dryers, case packing machines, palletizing systems, boilers, chillers, cooling towers, air compressors, and forklifts. Utilize a Computerized Maintenance Management System (CMMS) to log hours worked, search for parts, document repair notes, create follow-up work orders, and manage daily assignments. Interpret and follow work orders related to the servicing, modification, or installation of machinery. Conduct inspections, installations, operations, lubrication, maintenance, and repairs to ensure optimal operating conditions; monitor and interpret meters and gauges, and adjust and repair facility equipment. Ensure equipment safety through established procedures and testing. Oversee and manage plant utilities, including power distribution, steam generation, chillers, cooling towers, domestic tempered water, and HVAC systems. Foster a professional relationship with plant management, operational staff, customers, and suppliers. Execute maintenance tasks using a variety of hand tools, shop tools, and power tools. Compensation ranges from $29.94/hr to $41.44/hr, depending on experience.Qualifications:
Proficient knowledge of mechanical systems, including utilities (Electrical, Steam, Air, Water, Wastewater, and Refrigeration), building systems (HVAC, Fire, Security), and mechanical systems (Power transmission, Pumps, Pneumatics, and Hydraulics). Experience in the repair and maintenance of packaging machinery (Palletizers, case packers, case formers, baggers, stretch wrappers, conveyors, robotics) and fluid transport systems (pumps, valves, heat exchangers, separators, evaporators). Familiarity with food safety regulations and best practices. Ability to read and interpret P&IDs, mechanical, and electrical schematics. Competence in using CMMS for documenting equipment repairs and parts lookup. Strong organizational skills and attention to detail. Basic proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Outlook, Word, Excel). Excellent communication abilities. Relevant experience in the dairy, beverage, packaging, or food processing sectors. Capability to collaborate effectively with all plant personnel and devise efficient solutions. Aptitude for troubleshooting reliability challenges in a manufacturing environment operating 24/7. Physical ability to lift 50 lbs regularly and maintain various positions (sitting, standing, climbing, walking) for extended periods. Willingness to work in a high-noise environment. Flexibility to work any shift, including nights, weekends, and holidays.Education and Experience:
High school diploma or GED. Preferred formal education in a related field.Preferred Qualifications:
Experience in troubleshooting PLCs and control instrumentation. Background in industrial electrical systems and controls. Strong mechanical and manufacturing expertise. Proven experience in sanitary welding. Demonstrated skills in stainless steel fabrication and welding.Benefits:
