Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled Computer Network Architect to join our team at Electronic Warfare Associates. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for designing and implementing computer and information networks, including local area networks (LAN), wide area networks (WAN), intranets, extranets, and other data communications networks.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Design and implement network architectures and infrastructure
  • Develop and maintain technical documentation, including network designs, security measures, and test plans
  • Participate in reviews and evaluations of technical products, processes, and systems
  • Maintain a high level of technical proficiency and stay current with industry trends and developments

Requirements:

  • Active Department of Defense (DoD) Top Secret security clearance
  • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Security, Digital Forensics, or related field
  • 3+ years of experience in network architecture and design
  • Proficient in network emulation/virtualization, analysis, and planning
  • Familiarity with network and computer security measures and protocols
  • Experience researching and recommending network and data communications hardware and software
  • Excellent communication and problem-solving skills
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Commercial cybersecurity certifications such as CompTIA Security+, GIAC Security Essentials Certification (GSEC), Systems Security Certified Practitioner (SSCP), Certified Information Systems Security Professional (CISSP), Certified Secure Software Lifecycle Professional (CSSLP), CompTIA Advanced Security Practitioner (CASP+)
  • Excellent organizational, interpersonal, and problem-solving skills with a positive attitude
  • Excellent verbal/written communication skills; Ability to interact with internal and external customers
  • Ability to multitask and work effectively, both individually and leading a project team
