Internship Opportunity

We are seeking a highly motivated and skilled video production intern to join our team and gain hands-on experience in video editing, UGC video production, and paid media. If you're passionate about marketing and video ads that drive millions of views, this role may be an excellent fit for you.

This paid student internship provides valuable real-world video production experience in a fast-paced technology company. We're looking for a part-time VIDEO PRODUCTION INTERN to learn from our creative team and support our marketing efforts.

Responsibilities

  • Edit and assist in producing short-form videos with a strong focus on driving conversions on YouTube, Meta, and TikTok.
  • Optimize videos for various platforms, ensuring they meet specific requirements and are tailored to achieve platform-specific goals.
  • Assist in brainstorming, scripting, casting, and developing video concepts.
  • Iterate on winning video creative by testing elements such as hooks, calls-to-action, and visuals to enhance conversion rates.
  • Collaborate with the marketing team to align video content with campaign objectives, target audience, and conversion goals.
  • Monitor performance metrics to understand video effectiveness and refine editing techniques based on data-driven insights.
  • Stay up-to-date with the latest trends in conversion-focused video content and editing techniques, as well as social media trends.
  • Review creative briefs.

Requirements

  • A portfolio or samples of previous video editing work, particularly in short-form or conversion-focused content, is required.
  • Currently pursuing or recently completed a degree in Marketing, Media Production, Communications, Videography, or a related field.
  • Strong proficiency in video editing software (Adobe Premiere Pro, Capcut).
  • Strong understanding of ad platforms for video (YouTube, Instagram, Facebook, and TikTok), especially their advertising best practices.
  • Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a fast-paced, results-oriented environment.
  • Strong organizational skills and file management with the ability to manage multiple projects for multiple brands simultaneously.

Nice to Have

  • Basic knowledge of design software (e.g., Figma, Adobe Photoshop, After Effects) is a plus.
  • Script writing and storyboarding abilities.
  • Videographer, Lighting, or Sound recording skills.
  • Casting experience.

Scheduling

Work Days

2 days a week in the San Diego (Mission Valley) office

Hours: May not exceed 8 hours per day or 20 hours per week. Work schedule will be determined by the selected student intern candidate and the hiring manager.
