PROJECT MANAGEMENT ASSISTANT / CONSTRUCTION ESTIMATOR

CIVIL AND CONCRETE SECTOR

Key Responsibilities:

  1. Support project managers and team members in estimating, planning, and resolving project challenges.
  2. Prepare estimation documents and conduct quantity takeoffs for various construction initiatives.
  3. Interpret and analyze construction documents, blueprints, and specifications.
  4. Monitor awarded projects and compile submittals and Requests for Information (RFIs).
  5. Generate purchase orders and oversee the acquisition of materials.
  6. Collaborate with the Project Manager to manage subcontracts and payment timelines.
  7. Assist in creating detailed construction schedules and track the progress of multiple projects.
  8. Help the Project Manager in validating quantities and gathering job reports.
  9. Participate in pre-bid, pre-construction, and weekly project meetings.
  10. Evaluate productivity rates by comparing estimated versus actual project outputs.

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Two years of experience in plan interpretation or relevant education in Estimating, Engineering, or Construction Management.
  • Familiarity with Civil and/or Concrete Construction practices.
  • Strong verbal and written communication skills to engage with clients and stakeholders professionally.

Compensation:

The salary package will be determined based on qualifications and experience.

Applicants must have a valid driver's license and successfully complete pre-employment drug testing and background checks.
