Job Title: Southern Regional Dispatcher

Job Summary:

The Southern Regional Dispatcher will be responsible for coordinating and dispatching drivers and equipment to meet customer needs. This role requires a motivated, detail-oriented, and results-driven individual who can work independently and as part of a team.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Coordinate and set up daily dispatch routes for multiple USALCO plant locations.
  • Monitor electronic logging systems and make corrections as needed.
  • Coordinate breakdowns of trucks and trailers with USALCO mechanics and outside repair vendors.
  • Work with plant employees to ensure product availability and accurate loading of trucks.
  • Monitor driver compliance with hour-of-service regulations, qualification requirements, and pre/post-trip inspection reports.

Requirements:

  • Minimum 5 years of experience dispatching in a 24/7 operation.
  • Preferred experience in chemical/Hazmat field dispatching.
  • Intermediate proficiency in Microsoft Excel, Word, and PowerPoint.
  • Experience with PaperSave, Great Plains, and Electronic Logging Device preferred.

Working Conditions:

  • Routinely sits 80-90% of shift.
  • Flexible work hours to meet demands of transportation.
  • Less than 20% travel.
