Senior Medical Director

We are seeking a highly experienced and skilled Senior Medical Director to join our Oncology Clinical Development team at Genmab. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for overseeing clinical programs, ensuring the safety of our drug candidates, and leading the creation of clinical components of key documents.
Key Responsibilities- Oversee Clinical Programs: Lead the development and execution of clinical programs, including component studies, to ensure timely and successful completion.
- Ensure Drug Safety: Oversee the safety of our drug candidates, including signal detection and monitoring, to ensure the well-being of patients in clinical studies.
- Lead Clinical Document Creation: Lead the creation of clinical components of key documents, including regulatory documents, registration dossiers, and value dossiers.
- Develop Medical Strategy: Create, integrate, and execute overall medical strategy for assigned clinical development programs and product pipeline.
- Provide Medical Expertise: Provide medical expertise in oncology, including relevant, up-to-date knowledge of competitor products.
- Collaborate with Cross-Functional Teams: Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including Scientific Communications, to develop and execute publication and clinical communication strategies.
- Lead Study Design and Execution: Direct study design, protocol development, and execution of clinical research for pivotal cancer studies.
- Contribute to Business Development: Contribute to business development and alliance management activities, including due diligence activities and medical input into the assessment of candidate in-licensing products.
- MD Background: MD background with a minimum of 10+ years of directly related industry experience within oncology or hematology or 10+ years of highly relevant academic experience within oncology or hematology.
- Significant Experience: Significant experience with relevant areas of oncology, including building and leading teams, inspiring trust among colleagues, and implementing significant optimization/innovation of organizational processes.
- Leadership Experience: Proven ability to build and lead teams, inspire trust among colleagues, and implement significant optimization/innovation of organizational processes.
- Communication Skills: Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively with cross-functional teams and external stakeholders.
