Job Summary: Brunswick Corporation is seeking a highly motivated and detail-oriented Order Entry Specialist to join our team. As a key member of our Customer Service team, you will be responsible for processing high-volume orders and ensuring timely delivery to our valued customers.
Key Responsibilities:
- Process customer orders and order acknowledgments accurately and efficiently.
- Return Goods Authorizations as instructed by the Customer Service Supervisor.
- Perform administrative tasks such as maintaining customer order files and records.
- Provide information to customers regarding shipment tracking.
- Aid Customer Service Specialists and the Customer Service Supervisor on various projects as needed.
- Continuously enhance knowledge of products and customer base.
- Recommend improvements to processes and procedures.
Requirements:
- High School Diploma or equivalent.
- 2+ years of related experience and/or training in Customer Service within a general office environment.
- Knowledge of principles and processes for providing customer service.
- CRT keyboard experience typing 40 WPM.
- Experience with Microsoft Outlook, Word, Excel, and an ERP computer system.
Work Environment: Normal office working conditions. Prolonged sitting and extensive phone and CRT use. Occasional lifting of up to 20 lbs. may be required for filing and archiving documents.
