Job Overview

We are seeking 26' Box Truck owner operator teams to run furniture routes Tuesday-Saturday for a well-known Discount Furniture Retailer. In-home assembly is included with most stops, ranging from putting legs on couches to building beds and shelving units.

Responsibilities

  • Deliver and assemble furniture in a timely and efficient manner
  • Provide excellent customer service and ensure customer satisfaction
  • Work as a team with a reliable helper to complete deliveries and assemblies
  • Comply with all insurance, vehicle registration, and DOT requirements
  • Meet with clients to discuss delivery and assembly details
  • Perform other duties as assigned by management

Requirements

  • Must have a 26' box truck with a lift gate
  • Must have a reliable helper with a valid driver's license
  • Must have active DOT and MC numbers
  • Must comply with state laws for commercial vehicle use
  • Must have an EIN
  • Background and drug screens are performed on all contractors, including helpers
  • MVR is performed for all driving contractors
  • Outstanding customer service skills are required, with bonus pay based on client customer ratings
