Deliverables and Detailed Qualifications:

The expert in expenses engaged in the Expenses Implementation is expected to generate the following deliverables and should possess the necessary skills outlined below:

  • Requirements Gathering: The expense expert will review the documented requirements from the Expenses Fit/Gap Analysis project, conduct an in-depth analysis of requirements, and create a comprehensive requirements traceability matrix.
  • Experience in implementing the expense module is essential to identify all requirements, potential oversights, and challenges that may lead to unforeseen requirements.
  • The expenses analyst must demonstrate leadership to guide the requirements gathering process alongside other analysts and subject matter experts.
  • Collaboration with change management resources is crucial to identify additional subject matter experts needed for the project. Previous experience in an academic environment is preferred to understand the diverse groups involved in requirements gathering.
  • Requirements must be categorized into fits and gaps in collaboration with the project team’s other analyst, necessitating a solid understanding of recent tools and image versions of expenses.
  • Understanding the upgrade process is vital as the client is currently on PUM47/PT8.60 and plans to upgrade in the near future.
  • Configuration Documents: The expense expert will prepare configuration documents for requirements classified as 'fits' in functionality, adhering to the BFS template.
  • Functional Specifications: The expert will develop functional specification documents for requirements identified as gaps in functionality, ensuring clarity in collaboration with stakeholders for the developer's understanding.
  • System Tests: The expert will create system tests for all requirements listed in the traceability matrix, collaborating with the project team’s other analyst and executing tests during the initial testing phase.
  • Integration Testing: The expense module will interface with multiple systems, and the expert will work with the project team to ensure comprehensive documentation and testing of all required tests.
  • PTF Test Scripts: The expert will collaborate with contracted teams to develop automated testing scripts, participating in meetings and creating necessary recordings.
  • Additional Project Support: The expert may be required to provide further assistance as needed.
