Job Summary

This role involves performing routine support tasks primarily focusing on customer service and clerical activities, which may include processing information requests, data entry, answering inquiries, and maintaining files and correspondence.

About the Role

We are seeking a highly organized individual to work within a well-defined framework of policies and procedures under immediate supervision. The successful candidate will be responsible for supporting limited routine tasks including alphabetizing, indexing, verifying documents, interacting with the public or other departments, inputting, accessing and maintaining databases and files, and preparing various documents.

Responsibilities
  • Supports customer service and clerical operations by processing information requests, entering and maintaining data, and answering routine inquiries.
  • Maintains accurate records, files, and correspondence while adhering to established protocols.
  • Provides excellent customer service to County employees and the general public.
  • Performs other duties as assigned by Elected Officials or Department Heads.
Requirements

To succeed in this role, applicants must possess:

  • Graduation from an accredited high school or GED Program.
  • Able to type 25 wpm or 50 kspm.
  • Ability to understand and follow written and verbal instructions, organize and process work, establish and maintain effective working relationships, and provide exceptional customer service.
  • Prolonged sitting, standing, walking, and lifting files, boxes, and materials up to 25 pounds unassisted.
Estimated Salary

$35,000 - $45,000 per annum, depending on location and experience.
