Under the general guidance of the physician(s), Advanced Practice Providers (APPs), and the management team, you will assist healthcare professionals in delivering exceptional medical services to patients.
This role encompasses both clinical and administrative responsibilities.
Essential Qualifications
- High school diploma or equivalent.
Completion of one of the following:
- Graduation from an accredited Medical Assistant program.
- Completion of a clinical education program (e.g., LPN or RN program) with one year of experience.
- One year of direct patient care experience.
- Completion of a St. Clair Medical Group clinical training program.
Basic Life Support (BLS) certification is required.
Familiarity with medical terminology is essential.
Ability to operate various office and medical equipment is necessary.
A fundamental understanding of personal computers and proficiency with the Windows operating system is expected.
Preferred Qualifications
- Certification as a Medical Assistant.
- One year of experience in performing phlebotomy and EKGs.
