Job Overview

Position Summary: The primary responsibilities involve collaborating with management to ensure adherence to quality standards, maintaining inventory precision, and achieving customer satisfaction. The Material Handler will report directly to the Materials Supervisor.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Ensure inventory accuracy through consistent practices, security measures, cycle counting, and various audits.
  • Manage shipping processes for both domestic and international orders.
  • Conduct advanced M3 transactions and perform necessary research.
  • Execute additional inventory management tasks as required.
  • Prioritize tasks effectively based on business needs.
  • Handle raw materials and manufactured components with care to maintain their integrity and quality.
  • Uphold confidentiality regarding all company products.
  • Adapt to changing business conditions and undertake other essential tasks as assigned.
  • Tasks may vary slightly depending on the products manufactured within the division.

Safety Considerations: This role is classified as safety-sensitive, meaning it involves tasks that could impact the safety and health of the employee or others.

Qualifications:

  • Proficient in operating various pneumatic and hand tools, including drills, screwdrivers, clamps, and pliers.
  • Ability to safely operate a power hand saw.
  • Knowledgeable in interpreting Safety Data Sheets (SDS) and hazard warning labels.
  • Possession of a valid driver's license.
  • Current certification or recent training as a forklift operator.
  • Awareness of safety regulations and requirements.
  • Capable of working within time constraints dictated by customer agreements.
  • Ability to read and utilize a tape measure.
  • Self-inspection skills to identify and correct discrepancies promptly.
  • Compliance with current training requirements.
  • Willingness to assist in other areas of the company as directed by a supervisor.
  • Proficient in speaking, reading, and writing English to follow processes accurately.
  • Basic knowledge of MS Windows and Microsoft Office, particularly Excel.
  • Familiarity with part tracking systems (e.g., Royal IV) is preferred.

Work Environment: The work environment includes a mix of climate-controlled office settings and shop environments. Tasks are performed in close proximity to others, with exposure to various elements, none of which are deemed disagreeable.
