Job Summary:

As a Forklift Operator at Kohl's, you will play a critical role in ensuring the efficient movement and storage of merchandise within our distribution center. Your primary responsibility will be to operate a forklift to transport goods, locate, relocate, stack, and count merchandise, while maintaining a safe and secure work environment.

Key Responsibilities:

* Operate a forklift to move materials throughout the warehouse, adhering to safety protocols and procedures.
* Load and unload delivery trucks and trailers, ensuring accurate and timely receipt of merchandise.
* Safely handle and secure packages, preventing damage and ensuring compliance with company standards.
* Collaborate with warehouse staff to achieve productivity goals, maintaining a high level of efficiency and accuracy.
* Perform regular maintenance checks on the forklift to ensure optimal performance and prevent downtime.

Requirements:

* High school diploma or equivalent.
* Valid forklift operator certification.
* Previous experience operating a forklift in a warehouse setting.
* Ability to lift and move heavy objects, with a strong focus on safety and physical stamina.
* Excellent communication and teamwork skills, with a commitment to maintaining a positive and respectful work environment.
