Job Title: PCA/Caregiver

Job Summary:

We are seeking a compassionate and dedicated PCA/Caregiver to join our team at Right at Home Lake Norman/Charlotte. As a PCA/Caregiver, you will play a vital role in providing high-quality care and support to our elderly clients in their homes.

Responsibilities:

  • Provide personal care and related paraprofessional services to clients in accordance with established plans of care.
  • Assist clients with activities of daily living, such as bathing, dressing, grooming, and toileting.
  • Assist clients with mobility and transfer activities, such as walking, transferring, and using assistive devices.
  • Prepare and serve meals and snacks to clients.
  • Assist clients with medication management, including administering medications and monitoring side effects.
  • Provide emotional support and companionship to clients.
  • Maintain accurate and detailed records of client care and services provided.
  • Communicate effectively with clients, families, and healthcare professionals to ensure seamless care coordination.

Requirements:

  • High school diploma or equivalent required.
  • Valid driver's license and reliable transportation.
  • Ability to pass a background check and drug screen.
  • Ability to work flexible hours, including evenings, weekends, and holidays.
  • Ability to lift, push, and pull up to 50 pounds.
