Job Summary

We are seeking a skilled and compassionate Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) or Certified Medical Assistant (CMA) to join our dedicated team at Cuyuna Regional Medical Center. As an LPN/CMA, you will play a vital role in coordinating daily clinic operations and providing exceptional patient care.

Key Responsibilities
  • Conduct patient assessments and provide vital education to ensure optimal patient outcomes.
  • Coordinate lab tests, x-rays, consults, surgeries, and hospital admissions as ordered by physicians.
  • Document patient information accurately and maintain confidentiality.
  • Assist physicians with procedures and treatments, and prepare and administer medications as needed.
  • Operate medical equipment, including EKG, tympanometer, suction, oxygen, spirometer, audiometer, nebulizer, wheelchair, and exam tables.
  • Provide excellent customer service and communicate effectively with patients, physicians, and other healthcare providers.
Requirements
  • Current LPN license for the State of Minnesota or current CMA certification with the American Association of Medical Assistants.
  • Current American Heart Association BLS certification required within 30 days of hire.
  • Effective listening, observational, reporting, documentation, and communication skills.
  • Ability to work under stressful situations and adapt resources to meet patient needs.
