The Ambulatory Surgery Center Nurse is a vital member of our team at Novant Health, responsible for delivering exceptional patient care in a fast-paced ASC environment. As a Registered Nurse, you will work closely with our team to ensure seamless patient flow, efficient operations, and outstanding patient satisfaction.
Key Responsibilities- Provide high-quality patient care, adhering to the highest standards of nursing practice and the NC nurse practice act.
- Coordinate the telephone pre-admission assessment process for patients, ensuring accurate and timely information.
- Collaborate with the healthcare team to develop and implement individualized care plans, prioritizing patient needs and safety.
- Participate in cross-training and professional development opportunities to enhance skills and knowledge in ASC operations.
- Contribute to a positive and inclusive work environment, fostering open communication and teamwork.
- Current RN licensure in the appropriate state.
- One year of ASC, PACU, or operating room experience preferred.
- ACLS and PALS certification preferred.
- Associate's or Bachelor's degree in nursing, with a strong foundation in nursing principles and practices.
