The selected candidate will be tasked with a variety of essential functions, including the preparation of monthly financial reports and statements, forecasting both capital investments and operational costs, as well as conducting comprehensive cost analyses and divisional comparisons. The Financial Analyst will collaborate closely with Operations and Maintenance teams to develop, monitor, and manage budget estimates for capital projects. The ideal candidate will possess the ability to deliver insightful recommendations regarding budgeting, investment strategies, and other financial aspects that contribute to the division's growth and success.

Nucor Steel West Virginia represents Nucor's innovative sheet mill, equipped with cutting-edge steel production capabilities and a commitment to reduced carbon emissions. This greenfield initiative is projected to reach full operational capacity following two years of construction, with the new facility expected to employ 800 full-time professionals and produce up to 3 million tons of steel annually at one of the most advanced sheet mills located in the Appalachian region.

Safety is paramount in all roles at Nucor; thus, candidates must demonstrate their ability to initiate, lead, and maintain safety protocols, practices, and cleanliness standards consistently.

Essential Qualifications:
  • A bachelor's degree in finance, accounting, or a related discipline
  • A minimum of 3 years of relevant professional experience
