Key Responsibilities

  • Provide corporate, partnership, and individual tax services to clients, including tax planning, research, and compliance.
  • Prepare and review tax returns, including federal, foreign, state, and local tax returns, estimated payments, and extensions.
  • Build relationships with clients, participating in networking and business development activities to drive growth and retention.
  • Lead and supervise Tax Staff, providing guidance and support to ensure exceptional client service.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree in accounting or a related field; Master of Tax preferred.
  • Minimum of 2 years of related experience; previous experience in a public accounting firm preferred.
  • CPA or licensed attorney preferred; if not, must meet educational requirements to obtain CPA or attorney license in state of employment upon hire.
  • Proficient in corporate, partnership, and individual taxation.
  • Ability to travel to client locations, including occasional overnight stays.
  • Motivated to meet client deadlines and provide excellent client service.
  • Experience managing multiple client engagements.
  • Creative problem-solving and research skills.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Proficient with Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook).
